Closed for winter!

Hi Everyone!

Hope the end of 2011 is a great time for all!  We will close the cart for a few months to stay warm and plan to open back up with a few new menu items and changes by March 1, 2012.

"My ME Time"

Hey all,

We know one of the frustrations for customers is not knowing the hours of carts and the risk one takes driving across town, only to find their cart choice closed.  SO, to avoid this, we want to put it out there that a little trip to the beach is needed.  We will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, August 16th and 17th and we will open up late on the 18th.
We try and keep regular hours M-Sun 11:30(ish)-8pm.  We are usually closed on Tuesdays.

Enjoy the weekend and come on by for some tasty Cheese Borek- the dough has finally arrived from Turkey!

NEW MENU ITEM!

This week we have a new special on offer and soon to be a regular menu item!
Chicken Shwarma!  Come try this delicious and juicy chicken marinated in Eastern herbs and spices.  Wrapped in a pita with lettuce, tomato, onion and tzatziki sauce.  Only $6!

Beef/Lamb Doner Kebab (gyros)

Thinly sliced lamb/beef grilled on a vertical rotisserie. Served with lettuce, tomato, and onion.

Wrap/Pita $6 or Plate with rice and salad $7

 Iskender Doner Kebab

Thinly sliced lamb/beef grilled on a vertical rotisserie, served over bread topped with Iskender sauce and yogurt and salad. $7

                            Vegetarian Options

Dolma

Grape leaves stuffed with rice, onion, currants and spices cooked with olive oil.   Served cold with a lemon wedge. 5 for $4.00

Gul Borek

Spinach, onion, feta and Turkish spices, rolled and baked in filo dough. $4 with salad.

Turkish Cheese Borek

Deep-fried crispy pastries stuffed with feta cheese and parsley. 5 for $4

Vegetarian Plate

Spinach, Onion, and Feta Gul Burek, 2 dolma and Mediterranean salad $6.50

Falafel

Deep fried falafel served either in pita with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions or served on plate with rice and side salad. Pita/Wrap $5 or Plate with rice and salad $6

Traditional Red Lentil Soup

Red lentils pureed with onion and herbs served with a slice of lemon.

 Add a cup to meal for $1 or 10oz bowl for $3

Weekly and Weekend Specials

Specials include a rotation of traditional Turkish meals and salads.  Weekends may include Turkish style breakfast which includes olives, a variety of cheeses, egg, breads and spreads

New Location

We have found a new location at The North Station on the corner of N Killingsworth and N. Greely.  We will be open by Mid April so look for us soon!

We've signed our lease!
